Hi. I have a matte slim xbox 360 that I'm looking to get RGH'd.
I have no problem flashing and everything, but I'm absolutely awful at soldering.

Are there any folks on here that take orders? I'd like my slim rgh'd with coolrunner and nand-x qsb so i can easily reflash if something goes wrong.
There's a guy in town that
a ) i have no idea how legit he is (craigslist)
b ) wants $100

I'd prefer someone reputable that is known on the boards for taking orders.

Also, I'm located in the US.

Just to give you a breakdown, here's what you may be looking at:

Shipping: $12 USPS medium flat rate
Coolrunner and QSB: ~ $30
Install cost: will vary based on installer, prob around $50

So you're looking at roughly $100, but going through here, you'll get reputable

I live in Maine and can do it for the above

I would not put ANYTHING into one of those boxes unless he does not care at all about how many cracks the case ends up with.

General rule of thumb is to have at least 2 full inches of padding around each side of the console minimum.

p.s. moving to proper forum.

You are retarded. I have shipped this way for 5 years. No "cracks" unless by "shipping" you mean "throwing down a cliff". Over one hundred boxes shipped. Easily. Never told "MY XBAWKS DUN CRACKED!!!"

USPS medium flat-rate boxes work fine. Actually pack it with peanuts.

I just posted a thread. $50 for the job, $25 for the chip, and return shipping (whatever it costs you to ship). I am located in NY.

Over the years I have done many thousands of consoles. And some of my customers have shipped using a flat rate box. And quite a few end up getting to me with cracked and broken plastic on the corners of the console. Front face plate USB doors broken etc.

And they may not throw it down a cliff but given a chance many postal workers will at least attempt to play some football with it.

So I guess you have some self esteem issues when you must resort to name calling when someone posts a constructive commend that goes against your narrow way of thinking?

I guess no need to go over the rules in which you agreed to when creating an account here about such issues. This time I will let it pass.

I joined in 2007. Xbox-scene didn't have rules back then. Although the forum hasn't been updated since 1998, so I could have missed it laugh.gif.

I've never seen damage happen, but I have had some people ship it in just the box. No packing materials or anything. The box is thin; damage could happen easily if not packed correctly. You could probably use insurance and it would still be half the price of UPS/Fedex.

i ship medium flat rate all the time. just wrap the console in bubble wrap and its fine.
btw, this guy has a corona board console.
