Is it safe to update my dash on my rgh phat to the current dash? I heard that it blocks the rgh is that right?? thanks ahead of time for the replies.

No it is not safe to update to latest dashboard.

You can update your dash, however update your nand first by building a new image using the builder of your choice and flashing it via Xell. Once done stick the latest update on a usb stick and install.

If you just update then you will lose it. However if you do it as follows

1, Use 360 Multibuilder or whatever you prefer to create a nandflash.bin file for 14719 dash
2, copy the nandflash.bin and xenon.elf to a usb stick
3, insert usb stick and turn on xbox with the EJECT button which will load into Xell
4, Xell will then do the rest by finding the update and installing, when done it shuts down.
5, turn on xbox and you are on 14719 and still RGH.
6, download and extract to usb the 14719 dash from xbox.com and update the xbox (this makes avatars and kinect work)
7 you may need to download the latest version of dashlaunch if FSD is not autoloading.
