Hi. I prepared 1.6 Xbox with X3 CE. I have also done a mod with resistor http://xbox.bula.nu/resistor_install_1.6.asp
Now, when I turn console with X3 CE, it boot properly.
When I turn console without modchip, it boot properly.
BUT. When I long press power with X3 CE (to boot retail bios from Xcalibur) it frags!

Hard to say, maybe you did something wrong with soldering the resistor, but, I am curious as to why it matters? That is, why would you ever wish to load the retail bios when you have a modchip? I can't think of a good reason.
