Love the front USB, care to explain how you made it and put it into place?
opeter
Hi. The usb ports are from a crashed pc, it is attached to an aluminiun plate, simply fastened with scantech cyanofirm glue, witch attach almost every material, then black spray color.
The hardest bit was to get the hole in the plate to fit the usb ports cool.gif (PATIENCE).

Then its simply soldered with gamepad contact.

Trying to clone the hdd to an 2.5 with chimp 2.4, but i dont seem to manage that. sad.gif

That's a very clean slimbox you've done there. Very nice job sir.
opeter
Thank you Nextelhalo!

The hardest part in the whole project was to wire and solder all the cables to component video and the switch on to the motherboard blink.gif

That i will never do again, beside someone gave me a sack of money! smile.gif

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide for this type of mod? I sure would like to try this myself.
opeter
Hallo updogg.

The only guides i used for this project, was for the wiring (pinout).

Beyond that, there is only yourself who sets the limits for your fantasy biggrin.gif

Actually i have a plan to put the inside of the xbox in an empty white 360 case,

then my lovely modded case will be for sale. biggrin.gif

So many people make these I thought there would be a guide.

Here is a good guide but there are some gaps in there. There used to be a great guide at the xbmc4xbox forums but it's being rebuilt right and I dont know if the old guide will ever surface again.

What size HDD is that? I would've cleaned up the wiring as much as possible to avoid any type of interference. Overall, I like it. Good work opeter.

Here is what the inside looks like after the HDD change, and some cleaning up.
Found it impossible to clone with shimp, so i took a backup of the F: partition,
and did a new install with AID on the new HDD.
