Ok, so i have a falcon i haven't used in a while. It had RROD which i think i fixed with a reflow.
I was using it on and off. I mainly used it offline to play my backups. I was going to use it to ISO mod forza 4 but i had to update to get the stock game to work.
I did the update off the disk, not sure which. Ill have to check.
After the update the game worked fine, how ever. Like normal, i figured it's a newer game, ill need to update my benq firmware before i can play a burned copy of the game because of the new security.
So i downloaded LT off xbins and got the hacked firmware and took the key from my old firmware useing firmware toolbox and put the key in the hacked image and flashed it. After that the system had problems. I got a E66 at one point. Tried flashing back, no good. How can i recover from this ? Got play dvd on older backups&origs
I tried using the post firmware & stock.

Any ideas?

Someone said i should flash back using the stock firmware and then update to the newest version.
Also, the drive had LT, im not sure which version.

what dash are you on and what drive do you have
sounds like the update from the disc flashed it back to stock and changed the drive revision

The title says he has a Benq drive.

Are you sure you flashed it with the correct key?

Wouldn't hurt to reflash it.

your right xboxdawg -- Benq LT wacko.gif
you said you took the key from your old firmware and injected into new firmware then it should work if you have done it right
latest dash update is 14719
redump the drive to see what firmware is on the drive
if its 0442 use orig from stock folder and inject your key and flash
do dash update and then make sure origs work
if all good use LT 3.0 0442 firmware make sure you create hacked firmware from your dump and flash
