Hopefully someone can clear up a few questions. I have a banned system with lt 2.0. The last game I've backed up was GOW3. Sorry maybe a few more after that. Used the truncated method with no issues. Now I would like to backup Max Payne 3 and some newer titles. I see now that method wont work anymore. I need to update my dash patch the game to 2.0. But I've seen lt 3.0 is out but some people are still having trouble and I've seen this liteon ihas burner been thrown around. My ultimate question is do I need to buy this burner in order to continue backing up newer games or can I just patch them and burn them with the burner I currently have? Again....I have a banned system and have no interest in going online if that influences your answer. Sorry for the short novel.

LT+3.0 and LiteOn iHAS124 flashed with LT Max works like a charm. Haven't had one error yet.

edit: Be sure your buying a model 'b'. Most places are selling model 'c' now.

Sorry one more thing. I see a link on the page for a liteon at newegg. Don't see anything about model b or c. Im assuming it's the correct one if there's a link to it.

Not sure if newegg is still selling b version. Ii could always buy one fom a member in the bst thread.

It's a crap shoot that probably won't pay off especially the 124B from New Egg... There are a few peeps on ebay that are currently selling 124B's preflashed for 34.99$ shipped ) (Both seem to have sold a ton already)

Id say its better to just pay a little more then have to dick around with waiting and then you get the wrong drive and have to ship it back.
