I know I am in the scene for quite long time, but its the first time I get on hands a XBOX Slim with DG-16D4s drive, with firmware version 1071. I have Sputnik360 in stock that I have successfully installed on MCIX DG-16D4s in the past.
My problem is that the drive has Winbond chip, so my sputniks become useless in that case. Am I right? Did anything change since Sputnik's release?
The only ways to unlock it is by ordering the PCB replacement or doing the kamikaze method? I don't really want to do permanent "fixes" like kamikaze's, and the PCB (versions 1.1) is quite expensive solution out there.
So I have to ask for one more time, is there other solution?
If not, does anyone knows where I can find the PCB v1.1 in logical pricing? 70-80 euros (including shipping) is way too much for it! I am willing to buy wholesale as an option.
