hi i am looking to buy this drive for XGD2 & XGD3 & AP2.5 0800 v3 and would like to know how can i connect it to a pc without opening up the pc , and which leads would i need thankyou

This should work I think. If someone could confirm that it can rip with sata to USB then you are good with this.

I have one for sale. It's a Benq VAD6038 fw: 64930C

It is able to rip XGD2 and XGD3 0800 v3 firmware ready. Almost new drive. Pulled fresh in 09 from a RROD Falcon.
Date stamp is January 2008

BTW, you don't need a liteon dg16d2s, a benq also works to rip games.

I don't know how you could not open your computer. I've been doing it for ages just opening the side panel. Unless you drill a hole in the side or back of your computer.

thankyou for your reply what would be the price to send to the uk ? i have been looking around how to connect it and some are useing usb pro to connect it via sata to usb but i cannot find out how would i connect the leads up as i dont want to open the side panel up or drill any holes thanks

thankyou for your replys ok i will try and explaine , the xbox is a phat , the reason why i would like to buy a drive is to connect it to my pc and i dont want to disassemble my xbox , the new drive that i would like to buy has allready been flashed with 0800 firmware version 3 , i do have the orignal drive key as i sent the xbox of to be flashed and updated , so it sounds like the better way is to use a usb pro but how do you connect this to the drive so it wil work external like sata to usb ? , with the drive key are you saying that the orignal drive key has to be on the new drive as well ?
