Hi guys

Im new and have a questions and need help , sinds i cant find anybody or anything with a similiar problem (i googled my ass of)

So here is goes.
I recently have softmodded my xbox classic. And so far everything is great. Emulators for SNES are awsume playstation not so much.

Anyhow everything works fine untill.....

I put a Xbox game on the harddrive. The game i use is Kung Fu Chaos and the screen is not centered good, to the left its fine but to the right is goes beyond the Tv screen itself.

(i hope u understand what i ment, english is not my native language sry for that)

So here is how i have put the game on my hard drive.

I have the Iso file of the game. This i unpack in a folder on my pc with XISO then i use my FTP browser (FlashFXP) to transfer that folder to my E partition on my xbox.

Then i can fire up my Xbox and start the game , with a part of the screen missing on the right side.

So far i have googled my ass of and checked all the settings in XBMC but using the screen calibration doesnt have any effect for the game (only for the menu of XBMC itself) And like i sayed before the emulators of the SNES i used work fine. So i cant figure out what is making this game not show properly.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thank you
fallenangle
Try buying an original copy of the game ie. an orginal disc and use DVD2XBOX to rip it to the HDD and see if the problem recurrs. Then post again.

Thanks but this doesnt work either.

I found out that in settings>system>video. the settings go to widescreen everytime i reboot my xbox.
If i set this to letterbox the game runs perfect!!

So i would like to know how i can store these settings , so that i dont have to go set it to letterbox everytime i want to play my games.

Thanks
Heimdall
Bypass the virtual eeprom, change your settings, disable the bypass. How you do that depends on your softmod. The XBMC4Xbox wiki article on enabling HD for softmod Xboxes explains how to do this.
MrMajst3r
Maybe just set the "letterbox" in MS Dash?
Heimdall
I thought he'd already done that.

His problem is that it isn't sticking, because he has virtual eeprom.

U are correct Heimdall
it is not sticking in the settings.
Everytime i boot the xbox i have to go to Settings>system>videohardware. and change the screen from widescreen to letterbox.

I just want to know how to set the letterbox on default so it stays like that everytime i boot or reboot the xbox.

Can u direct me a link to the proper guides i cant seem to find anything about what u told me in the previous post :S ?
(how do i know what softmod i used?)

I used xboxhdm to install nDure
When that finished there was something called UnleashX on my xbox.
And with that i installed XBMC on it.
