Hi all.i wondered if anyone had a tut or an idea as how to fit a transforming d-pad into a standard controller case? i have a slight idea but would just like a guide or reference.

i havnt seen a guide yet.. but i was gonna try it soon. i would assume you dremmel 9or your choice of plastic removal) the inner part of the dpad. i would remove it from the inside to make sure you dont remove more plastic than you would like. then 4 notches on the inner dpad lip..

Yep, take your time with it and it will come out looking and functioning good.

Hey guys.Thankyou for the comments,i have succeeded!! i cut the whole dpad area out to accommodate the new transforming d-pad then more notches underneath and it fits as thought it was made for the job.will upload pics tomoz

seen a guy selling these on ebay..they also have different colors besides the stock. transforming d-pad xbox is what I searched for on there.
He says in his auction that its easy as cake with a few tools and describes what to do.
NOTE: The Transforming D-pad will only fit shells that came with a transforming D-pad (Silver, MW3, GOW3).
If your controller has a standard D-pad you can easily adapt it to fit by drilling out the inner hole to the right size, and cutting 2 slots on the inside. The modification can be done with a stanley knife and 25mm drill bit or cone cutter. It takes about 2 minutes and the palstic is very soft so easy to mod.
