2 part question to avoid multiple posts.

I picked up a slim\rgh with no cables and I have a extra ( 203W ) phat 360 power brick, would the phat to slim adapter be worth getting? Would over heating be an issue? AM I better off tracking down the slim brick?

And second

It came with the 15574 Dash, is this ok as of now? Was thinking of adding avatar support ?

the power adapter will work just fine, and it's only $5. that said, the 203w PSUs are /loud/ relative to the 150w jasper or the slim PSUs. if noise is an issue, and you don't mind spending $20 more, go get a 10.83a slim PSU.

if the box is already running a 15574 xebuild image, go ahead and grab the official 15574 update from microsoft and apply it.

ok cool so if there is no issues with a different wattage brick then the adapter should do just fine.
