have done allot of flashing.
but always the same drive.
now i have a friend with a bad hitachi drive ( laser )
and he has a Lite-On 02510C.

got the key fron the hitachi, spoofed the litone with a LT+ v3.0 0251 bin.
now the xbox starts.

but when i put a original in it only say PLAY DVD
and he always see it as a normal dvd.

is this because the drive is spoofed ?
or can i fix it ?

don't spoof just use the key.
sounds like the key you have is not correct.
dump the hitachi again and verify key.

so i need to put the key in the lite on and just leave it as a lite on ?
so it is not a hitachi ( spoofed ) but a lite-on...

will the latest dash not prefent that ?

put on the normal firmware for the liteon.
but still again.
wel i put in a dvd, original or backup everytime play dvd.

the hitachi wasnt modded before? bring it back to original unmodded state.

then dump the hitachi firmware, load liteon 3.0 on the target firmware tab, hit the 'spoof target to source' then flash the liteon drive.
