its basically a wood box lined with white posterdoard and two white smd strips with a plexi glass front.i took a lcd apart and made it transparent this was the hardest part broke 2 in the process.then i am running it from a old laptop i had lying around total cost so far was free seeing how i had most of the stuff lying around i have pics just waiting to get back to shop i left my phone there and i am currently at a wrestling show about to go to the ring lol.im on my ipad.

i will be doing this mod to a xbox 360 just waiting on the 10inch lcd i ordered from ebay.

But for the xbox360, just show it with system OFF or it may RROD .

And thanks for the info! Now I completely understand it. I know how to make the LCD transparent too, since when I fixed my LG, I took out the "Plastic" things which is what shows the image of the screen.

And the LEDS are needed to watch the animation, because LCD don't have lighting CLEVER!

i like where this is going but imagine if you could turn this holobox into an aquarium, you can see the hologram while the fishes inside are swimming that would be really awesome but much props to you for having this holobox project
