Hi I want to install X3 CE on 1.6 Xbox. But I haven't got alternate 5V wire. I would solder wire directly to connector pad, but there are 2 pads. Which should I use?

I think I have that wire in my spare parts box. ill pm u tomorrow if i can find it.

Because there is very little space around this connector, I came up with an idea to solder wire directly to LPC. But according to manual, I've removed pin from LPC pin6 where 5V normally is.

Can I put this pin back and solder wire to alternate 5V?

No, I can't, because on 1.6 motherboard, 5V is always enabled, even when the console is turned off

So, finally I solder wire from alternate 5V to the backside of X3 CE.
