i got a jasper 256mb on my hand that i accidentally braked it by flashing jtag image on it.ofc it was new CB so it braked and i don't have its original flash image so keyvault and smc configs are gone and it wont boot.

now with my understanding from rgh,it can be brought back to life by flashing a donor image on it with rgh hack.
i wanted to know if its true and also wanted to know if i can put a 3.5inch HDD in the box instead of the drive.

Flashing xell only is all that is needed to obtain your cpu key. (Which you'll need anyways for rgh too) Y not just recreate a new image for jtag too? No need for the extra soldering. And somewhere on your pc, you have a backup file. How else could you have made the new image?

And yes you can on the 3.5" hd. GEting ready to do that to one of mine, as 'm not shelling out the $240 for a 2.5" 2tb drive.
