Ok in order to start modding you have to get a mod chip, install in box, then buy a hd insert that in the xbox, but then is there a way to download games straight from your comp to the xbox, please don't direct me to a tutorial the one on networking sux... ( by the way will I have to buy a dvd burner?) muhaha.gif

Yes, you will FTP the files from your PC to the Xbox by using a network cable.

To Mod, you absolutely HAVE to have a mod chip. The big hd is not necessary. You could ftp everything. The big hd just makes it simpler. You will have to buy a DVD burner if you plan to copy games, but if you buy a bigger hd, you can just make ISO's of the game and store them on your hd on the box. You could possibly store them on your pc and ftp them that way also. If you don't like the tut on networking, make one better wink.gif

No matter what the size of the HD is, FTPing with either is the same.

You don't store ISOs on the HD, you extract the ISO on your PC and FTP the contents over to your Xbox.
