After moding my 3rd xBox, I go to pull an RC Battery from a nearby charger on the same strip as this xBox. I notice the built in amp meter was reading zero and imediatly pulled out the fuse and saw it needed to be replaced. I run off to my garage and pull another fuse to replace the dead fuse from my RC charger. From the excitement of just completing my latest xBox work of art I forget to unplug the charger as I replace the fuse. BZZZZZZZZZT!!!!!!!!

Next thing I knew I was looking down at my own body! (Man I must say I look pretty damn good.) I was thinking WTF? Am I dead? I was confused and it everything felt dreamy, like being half awake and half asleep in the middle of a dream. What I did next is what confuses me now, I turn my newly modded xBox on and run Halo. I don't know if when you die the last thoughts in your head take presidence over what you are feeling or doing, but I turned my xBox on and started to run Halo.

Now the confusing part. I don't remember stopping I just remember waking up from my uncounsous state and sat up. I was letting everything sink in on what just happened, I still am letting everything soak in. I imediately look at my TV and see it was turned off, I was thinking damn that was a kewl dream, but I noticed my xBox was turned on? So I grab my remote and turn my TV on . . . now the trippy part . . . Halo was running and the game was in the middle of the second stage!

I don't know what the @#$% happened, I am freaked out and confused still?

I'd go see a docter and tell him what happened incase you done some damage I'm no electric expert but damn how did you not turn the damn plug off lol!

I did somewhat of the same thing. I got my wisdom teeth taken out, and after waking up and cursing like a sailor, COMPLETELY incapacitated, i went home and got my xbox. I then proceeded to carry it upstairs, FTP into the box, and transfer tony hawk 4 to it. I then go downstairs, plug up my box, start playing and pass out.

When i wake up, i have no knowledge of what happened, i have no idea how tony hawk 4 got on my xbox, and had to check my FTP logs to make sure i didn't do anything stupid!

Thats intense

It's been a long time since I have "smoked" anything illegal, but I have dropped xtc a few too many times then I should have in the past.

I am researching "Out of Body Xperience's" online and many of the people who get them have repeated experiences. I am considering going out and getting some aligator clips and running more voltage though my body as the Xperience was like nothing I had ever felt b4 . . . I think I kinda liked it.

No worries though, I will ask my brother to be around if I do this, in case I need CPR or something. (ewww CPR from my bro . . . maybe I will ask a friend instead, female of course.)

Extremely strange man! I got shocked by my xbox power supply recently and damn it was fuckin weird, the shock went through my hand and spread to my legs / head, it was creepy and it hurt like a bitch. Nothing as weird as that happened however, but i do have a theory for what happened.

Now, did u have a halo gamesave on the second level, or was it a totally clean xbox? If it was a totally clean xbox with no halo saves, that would be totally freaky. Did u save the game and was there a profile?

If you had a profile where the game was at that point in the middle of the second level (i beleive it is called "Halo" Correct?), the dvd lens may have been placed at that point, and perhaps it loaded the last save as it was turned on.

Ok fuck it, i dont know what the fuck happened, thats so weird!

Edit ==> I just read your topic again, i think MAYBE you might have pressed A a lot, not paying attention to the fact that the tv wasnt on. Heres the order:

Xbox flubber animation ==>
M$ Logo (beginning of movie) ==>
Intro begins (you pressing A, skip it) ==>
Campaign mode is the default at the beginning (A) ==>
Your last used master chief (profile) had been in the middle of the second stage, you choose it because it is always keeps the last used profile selected. You choose it with A.

Now your last played map is up, (halo), so you chose it with A.

Your difficulty is default on the last one you chose. You press A, where your game is instantly picked up, without loading time.

At this point you realize that your tv is off, you turn it on, and bam. Elapsed time => 20 seconds or less

Looking back, when I moded this xBox (for a co-worker at no charge err no pun intended.) I backed up partitions C, E and F from my xBox, I put my apps in E so I just xBox to xBox FTPed to his new box which includes my saves.

The Master Cheif save used was my profile, but what I don't understand was MY TV WAS TURNED OFF! and my remote was on my couch like 8 feet away? Damnit though I turned off the xBox after a few minutes of sitting next to wet carpet, saliva not pee, I should have seen if I killed anything, or where I was at exactly in the game, but none of that really accured to me . . . I was still in shock and was dazed and confused.

I called my Father up and asked if I should go see a Doctor, he thinks I should be fine, but told me I shocked myself as a toddler once long ago as well.

I'm am searching for a good forum online with other people who have had an out of body experience, but have not found one yet. I mean this was a really wierd feeling, reflecting back earlier this afternoon, it was like I was in a dream but knew I was awake I could not control my body and felt bound and lifeless yet I could see myself on the floor . . . I was not afraid! I even think I enjoyed it?
