I have the first xecuter 2 lite chip (2.0 I assume)
I did the d0 method, so i had to de-solder then solder in the pins, and solder 1 wire to d0
What's the advantage of 2.2 over mine?
What about 2.2 pro over 2.0 lite?
Could I upgrade to 2.2 lite, pro, both or none without any further soldering (ie use the pins and d0 wire I already have in there on a newer chip)

The X-ecuter Lite 2.2 has no big differences over the previous version. Sure it has some new features but none of them tough that require you to change your modchip. So if you are happy with your modchip then keep it.
We got the new 2.0 Switch kits in stock now.. (I just have to get around to adding them to the shop)
These will alow your 2.0LITE to have an external switch, with flash protection, on/off, bios switch, etc... If that is what your looking for you could just buy that, instead of a new 2.2LITE
