I've read conflicting information. On the tutoral here on this site, it says that backups will not work with live. A while back I was just looking at modchip specs on some retailers page and it said that backups would work with live. Which is it?

If you use a backup game at the moment on LIVE it is a surefire way to get yourself banned.

Well they will work, but it will get you banned so dont do it.
