Is it possible to hook up my xbox to my friends xbox and play live and system-link compatible games without carrying my xbox to his place? Is this possible with xbconnect or xlink? sort of setting up a server at my pc that only he can access? or are these applications based on general servers? Is there another way to go about this? This is maybe a stupid question!

yeah u can use xbconnect or xlink. i haven't tried out xlink cause whenever i try there is noone on. xbconnect just host a game and if u only want him to connect set a password or somethin. u wont have a lag b/c u are hosting but ur firend might have some. xlink supposably has no lag whatsoever, i dunno dont ask me but try each.

Hi,

If you just wanna play ure friend with minimal hassle, use Xlink.. If you both install it, then add each other as "Contacts" you will be able to play.. just leave it in Messenger mode... simple as that wink.gif

Cheers
