help me!!!
hey everyone i really need some help!
i just got an xbox modded with the executor 2 i think it was, and back up games work well, but then i downloaded a homebrew game and i dont know how to get it on the xbox! i have evolutionx, and when i burnt the files that came in the zip file for a game called "pacmanX" it didnt work on the xbox. i hit "play game" (after i inserted the cd which the pacmanx files were burnt to) and the xbox kept making sounds and returned to the start screen. sad.gif ive heard you need to transfer files to the hard disk directly but how do you do that? uhh.gif also, i burnt a vcd but the "region free dvd player" didnt work and when i pressed on xbox media player i can only browse through files, theres no option to view divx or mp3 off cd, and no vcd option either! please i really need sum help! i could get mp3s onto the xbox hd before i had evoX but now its too confusing, theres no option for it!!!!!
i hope someone can help me out on this!
thanks!

Wow man. The problem with this is that you don't seem to have any knowledge base whatsoever - someone dumped a modded box on you and now you are just sitting there without any idea what's going on. I think most of your problems likely stem from the fact that you are not burning your discs in xbox compatible iso format i.e. XISO. You need to make an xiso before you can burn it. You'll need a program specifically designed to do this on your PC - you might try looking on the frontpage tools/iso tools. If it's not that you need to understand more about evox and XBMP (which you will need to do regardless).

Anyway -

Go to the Evolution X site - they have a downloadable manual there. Give it a read.

Go to the XBMedia Player site - they also have a downloadable manual: Give that a read.

There's just no way someone is going to come along and clear up everything for you and help you understand it all post by post. This stuff is easy enough once you get going with it. Just start reading and put your miind to it and pretty soon you'll be answering other people's questions.
