Chip installed, flashed bios, unit turned off; Now what? I turn the unit back on and I get the insert disc with new bios again. Everything did what it was suppose to.

Also this is wierd = Many times I will turn the xbox on with the chip on and the video signal does not activate. I need to turn the unit on/off a couple times and then the screen comes on with the insert bios info.

When I searched there was too many variables to get a good answer.

i am having a similar problem. except i cant get the bios cd i made to even start. and i also have the no video signal problem, but it starts after 2-3 tries. i am hoping that this will be fixed with the bios flashed correctly. as soon as i figure something out i will let u know.

After some more research this is all normal until you load the new bios.


P.S. change the media that you are putting the bios on. It took me three different media types before I found that memorex cd-rw works.
