Would I be right in saying that you create DVD backups like so..........

• FTP your game from XBOX DVD drive to your PC
  
• Create an ISO image file of all the files you have FTP across
  
• Use something like Nero to burn the iso image to your DVD R/RW
  

Is it as simple as that, does this make a 1:1 backup of your game ?

Binarily (sp?), yes it's a 1:1 image. Unfortunately, it's not possible to burn the data on the outside of the disc, so it won't be identical to an original game disc.

Do you mean that some of the game files will be missing therefore the game will not play the same as your origonal ?

Also sorry excure my ignorance but what do you mean by Binarily (sp?) ?

I'm assuming "binarily" is the adverb forum of "binary". So 0 for 0 and 1 for 1, it will be identical, and the all the functionality will be intact (short of playing with the mod off).
