I'm buying a Xecutor 2 lite and it comes with "Cromell linux bios" do I have get evox bios to replace the linux bios for evox to run correctly? I would also like to use the media player and other homebrew applications I plan on ordering tonight so I need an awnser asap.

Yes. You need to flash with an EvoX bios or X2 to run hombrew programs such as EvoX and XBMP.

Yup, you have to flash the chip with a 1mb bios. You should use the Xecutor(current version 3977) BIOS since it's generally updated more often.

correcting Craptastic, you can use a 256KB BIOS which is the common BIOS size and the Xecuter2 newest version is 4977...

When you flash your x2.x lite for the first time you should use the oz flash method, its very easy and there is a tutorial that explains it really well.

If you are using Cromwell 2.12dev, you should be able to reflash. Only note, is you can only use "bios.bin" no other bios name. There is no need for "OzXFlasher" with Cromwell 2.12dev!

well no its a 1024 or some shit kb file made up of 4 bios copys made from the same bios so its a 1024 made from a 256

dont use ozflasher with the new flashbios. read the tutorial in my signature. will get you going 100%.
