I am having problems getting my xbmp_2.4 _cvs_compile_xbins_7-19-03 working. it shows up under my apps but when i try to load it...it hangs on the evox loading screen..then kicks right back into evox. tried putting it in e and f /apps. got x2.2lite with bios 4977 and evox 1.8.3752. help a brother out!!

Disconnect the network cable and try.

Try going to the xboxdash saves manager and deleting the entries there.
For XBMP, that is.

thanks...got the xbcopy figured out. didnt have 2 of my files in a folder labeled Media. small stuff definatly makes a difference...thanks for the reply!!

Hi,
Am having the same prob. Everytime I try to launch the xbmp, it will stay at the EVOX loading screen for while then go back to the dashboard. Where and what are in the media folder?? Tks

Hiya.. kinda solved my own problem. Downloaded the Complex version and voila! it worked. So for those of u who have been agonizing over the CVS version, dun bother to d/l it. Go for the complex version instead. Save u tons of headaches...Oh btw...xbmp 2.4 is smokin' but there are still some network bugs especially if u are using EVOX dashboard but hey! at least I can play my mpgs and wmv!

Sorry to say it, but if you do not know what you talk about do not bother to speak.
the cvs version works 100% as it should.
But ALWAys start with the point release and then ftp the cvs over it...
Btw, the complex release is just as much a CVS release as any other release. Only real differance is that the XBMP team name it, in this case, 2.4 when we think we have a good and stable version.
Not all cvs releases are stable and some can be a pain in the ass, but in your case, the 19th of july cvs, is working as it should
