As you all know the New evox dash is out (1.8.2812)
and whats the best part ??

It supports onboard flashing of the Xodus/Matrix chip !

This is what i did:

Installed the new dash (i installed on my HDD but it can run from a CD aswell)
Copied a bios file in the BIOS directory (i used 256k.evox.bluemod.bin)
Booted up the new dash
Went to the FlashBios option in the dash and voila!

It look like 5 seconds to upgrade it and it was ready to use!

It worked from my first try so i guess anyone can do it.

When i say flash rite it is like this :

Flash BIOS
Manufacturers ID 09 Device ID 00

Does it it mean it's flashing or whats happening.

Damnit... I have the new dash, and Xodus in Mode 4 (flashing orange), and when I try to flash with perfectly fine 256k bioses, I get this:

Manufacturers ID bf Device ID 61
!! Unknown Flash Type !!

Is there supposed to be new lines in the .ini file for the LPC flash type or something?? For some reason I think my evox.ini is wrong

w00t!

Figured it out, had an extra linespace in the .ini

Works a treat now!

Must say, pretty damn nice to be able to do it via the dash now instead of ripping the thing out of the box each time.

What line space, I have the same prob, where is it!?
