Ok, just brough home a new (blank) 80gb Western Digital HD. biggrin.gif
I have read all the tutorials on how-to swap a new HD... bla bla bla!
I Was like, WoW look easy to swap an new HD....

I was wrong,
Once my iso is made with xiso and burned with nero on a CD-RW he doesn't boot!! (
I've try different type of media (Maxell 650mb, Memorex) and even CD-R. sad.gif
I've also downloaded SLAYER'S EVOX AUTO-INSTALLER V2.1.ISO same here, don't boot!!

So i want to know if it's possible to boot evox directly from the HD using
Hdprepar.

Someone could help me out??
It will be apreciated.
Thanks in advance

And oh, my box is Moded with the 007 trick and i have the latest evoX version. (who care)

Modchips will save you a lot of time and headaches in the longrun,
however I think your problem might be the drive in your box being a Thomson, which doesn't read most media you throw at it.

dont use xiso either.

that's simply untrue. people don't realize that you can't have everything you want. all you gotta do is get media it reads well and burn it right. for the media part, buy some Memorex CD-RW 650mb 4x's and burn it as slow as possible. burn no higher then 4x and 2x would be ideal. for the part about burning it correctly, look for the link in my signature. i am sure it will help greatly!

yup, that might be your problem right there. try using simple xiso, you can get from the tools page here at x-s. i tried using xiso for my bios and evox cd's and it totally messed up my cd-rw's...
maxell's work best for me...

Changed the thread title from "****help Me Please!" Most people here don't like cheap attention-getting tricks in the title.

If your probs not caused by the oo7hack tecnique,( which I'm quitre ignorant of) It's proabably a bad Iso. Xiso sucks, try craxtion.
