1) How many gb is the original Xbox hdd?

2) Is it big enough to run linux?

I think 1.1+ xboxes have the 10Gb drive (Seagate)
Older xboxes have 8Gb Hdds (Western digital)
To use the full 10Gb on the newer drives, you need to format it. Before you do this make sure you back everthing up
