I am planning on buying a brand new Xbox and mod chip. I want the easiest mod chip to install, no solder. I saw the chamelon one and the price doesnt look to bad. Is this a good mod chip to get though?
Also, What are dashboards? I just need a quick description.

I haven't heard anything bad about it. I picked up a Xecuter 2.2 Pro with Pogo pins. I haven't put it in yet but the reason I got it was because numerous people have Xecuter chips. Only a few people had serious problems. Also I wanted Live support.

depending on what one wants to do there is a chip, or several, that can please your needs
read about what they can do and see which best fits your needs

It is a great chip and worth the money. Easy to setup and install. You really cannot go wrong.
