Getting ready to install Lite 2.2 < wire install method> in my v 1.0 box

The LPC points are solder filled. Do I desolder these before installing chip?
Can I just tin the wires and place them in correct points by just heating the wires and letting it melt into the already exisiting solder?

if you're going to go by wire install, all you need to do is heat up the soler in the lpc points and slide the wire in. its quite easy, and i found that solder flux help with the installation...
