My idiot friend (who is definetly going to feel some pain over this entire debacle) erased my Halo game when I was about 75-80% done with it. I know it's probably hopeless, but is there anyway that I can get back to where I was without having to restart the entire game from the beginning? I could do the whole game on easy, but even that would require a significant amount of time that I really don't want to spend. What are my options?
thanks,
Krackato

sorry, nothing. Unless you find some file foresics software that recognizes the xbox's drive formatting and find the right file amongst all the garbage it will find on the drive, you're pretty much S-O-L.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'd have to get this Mega-X-Key for $40 or whatever to do it. Seems like a decent deal I guess, but my friend has decided to live at my place and play nothing but Halo and Gradius on xsnes9x so hopefully he'll just get around to where I was before I know it.
What's up with this Mega X Key? How is it different than a regular USB memory stick?

Why Buy Mega-X-Key. Buy yourself a modchip and transfer the files yourself. It is much easier and a much better deal.

Okay, I just realized that the Mega X Key was only for non-Modded systems. It looks like I'll be able to download a Halo save game and solve all my problems. I'll try it when I get home in about 4-5 hours. Thanks for all the help guys.

you could use the cheats up until the point where you were, Medusa mode would make it go quick

Thanks a lot for all the help guys. I just downloaded a Halo Save game so now I only have to beat the last 3 levels that I had left instead of starting at the beginning. Thanks for everything.
