I want to display the free HD space on C and F if I use the <LayoutElement Type="Text" Source="ShortDriveCFree"> code
I get a result of "C: 5000,000KB free" hpw can I make this abreviated to "500,000KB"

Hhahahah thats easy, just put dummy files that are 4,500,000 kB.
5,000,000 kB - 4,500,000 kB = 500,000 kB
Then you will have that space you wanted. But I suggest you to use for something a bit more clever...

All I am wanting to do is abreviate the length of the information shown about HDD free space.

Yes I have the latest version, think this will be created by a small alteration to the coding behind MXM.

Yeah, the "Free" is hard coded. I'll have to create a set of "Bare" options in a later release.
