Is there a way to find out wat modchip is in my xbox? plzz help me.

open it up and look at the chip. the pics are located in the modchips section of the main page!

I dont mean to be a newbie basher, but seince u bought the chip then i think u should kow what chip is in there, or, if u bought the xbox premodded then it should of said on the website. but if u still dont know then u can use the slayers to find the infor for your modchip and your bios. it never worked for me but it might for you......

Loki, does this guy sound like he knows what slayers is? and if you couldnt get it to work, would he?
boco, wither open it up, or talk to the installer. Telling us more about your situation would help too.

The best thing to do is ask the installer... Most likely you will have some sort of cheapmod that you paid a little bit too much 4...
AkumAPRIME - just because he dont know what chip he has does not mean he doesn't know what slayers auto installer is, why dont u let him answer if he knows what it is or not instead of answering for him?

loki - a lot of newbie when getting chips dont really know what they are getting they just want a chip and dont care... someone has obviously installed it for him and probably only told him that this chip will let him do everything but didnt say the chips name...

Yeah talk to the installer and if that done work then open your box and have a look..

Basically, Boco, even if you open it up, there could be one modchip in the box, but it still doesn't say what modchip you've got!

In the EvolulutionX dash, goto Settings, BIOS- that will give you the software details for your modchip.

Ok thx for the help, I got the xbox from the person that gets al my pc stuff, but the stor is not open at the moment so I cant ask him.
I am a noob whit xbox chips and stuf, but I am not a noob on hacking games.
I wil ask my dealer wen he is open wat chip it is.
