If I wanted to backup a game does it have to be burned to a DVD then copied or can I just FTP it to the HD after its ripped off the DVD?

If it cant be done then please explain why?

no you don't, in fact you don't even need a pc, use a filemanager to copy the game files from your game cd directly onto your hdd

copying games is illegal, don't do it or you will be sent to jail along with all those cold hearted Kazaa file sharers

I make backups of ALL my games. There's nothing ethically wrong with it.

You must not copy.
You may however, use HDDLoader to backup games which you own.(acceptable and understandable)
You just put you original in the tray.....whalla!

Thanks for the nonsensical input. Anyway, we condone the backing up of one's games here. If you don't like it, I'd suggest you leave rather than give the members a hard time.
