How can i check my chip to know that it is bad after I have been using it for more that 3 months?
My xbox doesnt go on....it beeps.....flashes red and green and doesnt even open dvd drive.....how can i check my chip?

Start by opening up your box again and check if the grounding on the 'half moon' connection is proper. I had the same problem and had to wedge a small piece of metal between the half moon and the screw to get a tight fit. Then when that is done go over the solder spots with a multimeter and check the conductivity. And also if the wire has gone loose. But this seems more like a bad grounding to me than anything else.
