I think I just finished my first skin called Windows MXM. I think I have it all finished (last night). Maybe a couple of more adjustments then I'll be ready to share it. The thing is, I still need a title and load video. So what I amd coming out is a "Windows MXM v.8"

its going to look the same....
i got the bliss screensaver in the background too...

i have a task bar with the start menu and the menu goes there

Ya know what would be neat. THe into movie is a mouse that moves over to the start menu, and clicks it.

IN the main menu there is a start menu with all the apps in it.

A window in the background will tell all the necessary specs in of the Xbox.

Was just trying my hand at my first ever skin, so was just fooling around with this type of Bliss Xp theme...I prefer the name 'BliX'

Anyway I am learning along the way (it is my 1st skin attempt, hehe) so it's a bit lacking right now but I wipped this up within 2 hours of starting.

I got some low quality pics of it and a lower quality vid uploaded if anyone wants to see it in action. It looks a lot better than the pics and vid because I am on dialup so cant make big files to upload sorry. But you can see the basic idea of the moving clouds in the bg and the animated mouse and windows for the load screen.

I'll keep trying anyway...

Hehe thanks! But I wasn't really doing it to finish it Just needed a theme to try my first skinning attempt. I will probably continue with it to see what I learn about skinning and such but as I am a first time skinner that might take a while, so the other Windows/Bliss themes will be out by then. I don't really like the windows look myself, was just seeing what could be done in mxm skins

here's a much clearer pic of what it looks like (minus the mxm stuff). If anyone wants the files for themselves, just let me know and they're yours.

Yeah drew it all by hand and hand coloured too, then just scanned it to my hd...

Nah pretty obvious (mine at least) was just taken from screens of my desktop etc...

But I am in the middle of 'drawing' some original skins from ideas I have had for a while.
