ive upgraded v2 to v2.4 but when i select HDD from menu nothing happens.

why cannot not see my movies ?

All you have to do is edit the next file:

config.xml

Just add the correct path to your HD.

also make sure if you accidentally click xns or smb.... etc shares before you click on hard drive and the shares are not present you may need to restart to view the files on the hard drive.

another thing that may help which anyone can miss is the way movies is named in the xml file.... I totally missed it but keep working at it.......the xml is named movies....while the folder on my hdd is named movie.....I didnt realize that til i chked my ftp folder..... I know this is kind of like the "make sure your pc is plugged in" but i see they ask that for a reason now.
