OMG my Thompson in my Xbox. OMG. IT READS ANYTHING! I have these no brand CDR, yea CD-R, it reads them. I don't even have to put a fluffing file, but here's the thing. IT READS ANY CD! EVEN NON XBOX ISO CD'S! IT'S NOT MODDED IN ANY WAY!
Edit: Not pissed at everyone, just myself for not trying it before (had XboX for 4 months or so), and I even hooked up my PC DVD (yea me xecuter2.0 lite, good days...) to flash it with the old Cromwell.
P.S. I feel special.

yea i know, that's what i figured but it says not modded in any way....
lol
EDIT
i did pot tweak to my first xbox and it worked great, ain't gonna screw with it on current box
i don't need cdr that much anyways
specially for games as its fucking slow compared to dvd
i only have few things not on dvd/hdd which are recovery discs and they are on cdrw discs
no need for cdr, i just use soundtrack editor to get new shit in ms dash for game soundtracks

All you need is a replica of my Thompson. I have a cloning machine readily available for my use. All you need to do is send me $53,983,453,953,926,024.02 for the cost of materials, power, etc... and labour

I didn't just assume my Thomson wouldn't read CD-Rs. I tried it myself when I first installed my modchip.
Sure enough, it didn't.
I would expect people to experiment with media on their drives no matter what the make, just because there are variations in every drive.
It's cool that yours reads them, but it's not that big of a deal. Especially since most games don't fit on a CD-R. Now it would be good for Mame and stuff like that. I keep Mame on a CD-RW so I can erase and add more ROMS as I get them.

I use actual no brand labels. The top is silver, no logos or anything. The bottom is just blue!
