Just thought i`d put a DVD in my box and noticed it dont work in this build (24 Aug), goes to a blank screen press eject and the box reboots!!?
Can someone else confirm please that this is the case.

I have the cut file pointing to dvdx on partition 6.. even tried removing the dvd player.cut file as the config file now also has a location for the DVD app location!!?? The Cdda .cut file works fine...

Love the web server though pretty neat...

Just change it in the config file and you should be fine. Though it doesn't use the same format as the .cut files; Now you just have to put in C:\xboxdash.xbe or whatever you want to use.

Cheers Cerbero, my box is round a friends and will try tomorrow if I have time, although I am pretty sure I did have the config file set up correctly.. i.e <dvdplayer>f:\applications\dvdx\default.xbe</dvdplayer>

So Do I still use the dvd player.cut file or can this be removed totally now, in the config file it still says
<!-- DVD Player.cut & CD Player must be configured correctly -->
so I would prosume that it is still required !!!!? If so I wonder why it needs to be listed in two places!!!
Very annoying when they change these kind of things, it worked fine as it was.. still musnt grumble I guess.

Also on this build I notice that the DVD navigation has dissapeared under settings, have the XBMP team given up on this feature or have I something missing here ??

you can delete the cut files.

and press L trigger in settings-> general....
