I got a couple this time. First Another remake of mine from tHc Regular to LITE, and one that uses The Skins Factory's xbox background for LITE. Sure you could have just downloaded GLiTcH's tHc Regular one and moved all the files over, but I added in a little extra flavor

, plus its easier to download for the tHc Newbies.

Hope you enjoy. I'll be making more and porting old ones of mine if anyone is interested.

Goto into controlpanel --> default.xap

Look for both DEF panel02_backing Transform and replace

When adding pictures

The picture will not fit right in the center on the background so I had to change my canvas size from 1024x512 to 1750x512 and back 1024x512. Also one of the background will be reversed so I had to create another background with a reversed picture. Now add the the default.xap pictures in your controlpanel.xip.

Thanks guys here is a copy of the default.xap for anyone having problems. The two pictures are called blank.bmp and blankrev.bmp. Also I used two metal textures which I called metal and metalbright. When I get home after work today I'll post a copy of the controlpanel.xip.

Here the full controlpanel.xip. Kanaberra I'm trying to understand your question. Goto DEF controlpanel_backing Transform and change scale to 0.0 0.0 0.0 will work to make the controlpanel backing gone or you could change the apearrance so you could use any background you wanted.

i like the full transparency, and now i can better see the little 3D logox rotating (for that i replaced the image logoshell.xbx in controlpanel.xip w/ a full transprent one

Rapboy no luck on making the panel transparent but if I can find the how to change the picture to fit in the backing that will work. In this picture you can see the backing is clear.

try to replace the logoshell w/ a "transparent" cellwall.xbx or directly a fully transparent 256x256 image, it looks quite better

& i tried on my raining sunday to fit black bg behind the audiobg exactly inside the frame by playing around w/ "scale" & "scale orientation" but successless so i gave it up... for now

The transparency is set by the tone of the color used in hexbe or your set transparency values.

kanaberra this maybe a stupid question, but how to make transparent bmp like cellwall.bmp? I notice with xbx viewer that black becomes a blue color, but when every I make a change the xbx viewer no longer show that blue color.

nota: so i just make a rgb image in ps7 w/ transparent bg, and let it EMPTY, for cellwall.xbx it has to be 256x256px... then i "save as..." for example .png in order to convert it w/ Fast_xbx2dds2img to .xbx ! i check it and it has to look totally blue in xbxviewer...then i insert it in my xip file, etc

anyway accordingly to my previous, check one of these xbx (or both lol) :
cellwall.xbx for a trans cellwall or xbox4.xbx for a "fully" transparent one

Update for AudioPlayerBG and Controls

You might notice some stupid text like jud.... Just edit your controlpanel.xap files search and remove everything in the quotes "Jud...".

This damn dvd panel took me 4 hours(and i can remember how much ''tests''

) to find the right ''materials''(2 different materials for one elements to obtain the transparency inside the dvd panel and 5 materials for the opacity for the rest of this elements...

This one give me crazy!

No Transparent .xbx inside my xips........just a code.

I finish my keyboard .xap and i post all codes for the dvd panel right here..

It's very simple!!!!!
My first xap (no need to host my xap,now)work but i found an another way,very simple!
For the transparency inside the window of the dvdplayer panel:

Open your default.xap>Message.xip:

Search for this lines:
