That's because all the reflective objects draw to much power. I really noticed it when I had the Audio Visualizer in the main orb. Well you can expect one more final halo2 skin soon. The new skin will have everything and I mean everything!!!

Most free web servers won't let you link directly to your stuff from another host. But people can still view the pics if they paste the link in a new window.

Nop.It's a texture effect on the ''v'' Key...
When the key are ''Hilited'' the text turn ''black'' like the "RET.ARR" key.
But i think it's possible to make a different texture file for hilited keys...

I made a few for some of my fav bands. Heres a Lamb of God skin, and a Nine Inch Nails skin.

i've been busy making some skins for the the two contest and haven't had any chance to make a good "quality" skin. but i made a quick Hitman skin for all to see..
and, Aston please find someone to host ur .xap or someone please host them for him....

I know this isn't strictly the right topic (or forum for that matter), but... while we're on the subject - how much bandwidth do ya reckon it would take to host the .xaps? (i know they rar up pretty small) - i get 10 megs total traffic a month. And would be happy to host Astons if he's still keen to share. otherwise i'll do them myself on the weekend. problem is my provider will charge me for bandwidth rather than cut it off.
Oh, and you rock kanaberra - your site taught me most of what i know.

If XAPS are legal, then www.Xbox-Skins.net takes all tHc skins

you know, its cool tooling around with the orb, there are some great ones out there. but for when im just enjoying the box i like to see the tHc orb - cos it spins and is interesting - the best bit of code in the whole scene if you ask me (except for evox of course).
The point - i wont be happy until we can get xbox4.xbx rotating. ive tried playing with the code but cant get it to work.

I think he means for the backgrounds.
I sent it to AXS Last night, but I see it's not up yet. So you can get it at my ftp site for now. To switch Backgrounds use (L + R Trigger + Black)

BUT, i just downloaded it from your ftp site and tried it and i found a few bugs!!!
first thing is that anyone noticed is that u didn't provide a skin.xip! don't know why, but u did.
there is a bug/glitch in the music menu. when i click to play a song from the cd or from the already songs in the hdd, the screen doesn't show up, nothing is there; no menu.
when i go to into the settings to set something and comeback, all the hilighted text and unlighted text become white. even in the hard drive menu. basically it can't read or upload my "gamehilit_01" so everything is white.
the last thing i noticed is that it freezes right after that(^) happens. after a few second the menu hilighted words become white, the dash simply freezes.
and one last thing is that the texture behind the message panels (and others in settings) are moving. i don't know if it is suppose to do that or not.
let me clear it up if u don't understand: when the dash floats (start to move) the texture stays put and the panel will just get different sides of the texture. now i am asuming that u didn't notice that because of ur texture, but when i uploaded my own texture(metal.xbx) than i saw it.
thats all i noticed, might be more...
hope u can fix tham before releasing it to the x-s members.

Sorry, the rotating logo code was just wishful thinking on my behalf. though i've tried to do it myself(without success) and have requested it from the code people.
i love the halo 2 extreme edition dash but i dont know what version dash it needs and when i try to patch the xboxdash.xbe with the halo2.xbp i get an error in hexbe saying error. an unknown error has occured y? i really want this mod pretty bad but icant get it to work

Can anyone tell me how to make the bg on the music panel semi transparent, i've only got a fully transparent one and its really hard to read anything with the light blue background ive got.

On tHc lite making the AudioPlayerBG semi transparent is not possible, I tried may times it does work. You can make the panel behind the whole keyboard semi transparent.

Aston the backing shadow is the backing for the header just open the xap file a look for panelbacking and remove the following

There are alot more just look for panelbacking_01 I allready removed them all.
Halo2 Extreme Edition is fixed and I'm working on adding to AXS. I had to drop the backgrounds 10 of which I think everyone will like. I also completely cleaned up the entire dash what is no longer need is gone and I compare the dash size from the original and it's small even with 10 backgrounds + playlist and soundtrack! I still notice that there is a problem with the audio system still in lite. Lite sometimes freeze when switch in and out of menus with the music playing.
Thx sschevy that's the right element (DEF MEM_L2_header_backing Transform)....But no need to remove,i change the material(PanelBacking_01) by this one: PanelBacking_03

i took the grey color set and a green tile for the menu tabs, all from kanabera's page and changed the tubes in green,too. then i just replaced the cellwall with the weed leafs and the orb,.. didn't took the background, cause i didn't like it,... i can't send you the skins.xip (xap,donno) hope this isn't illegal =) but i thought that the skin file from lite isn't ms code, or am i wrong?
well but the skin looks pretty smooth i think, but i dodn't wanted to post, cause its nothing i created myself
