Chevy, thanks for the .Xaps (halo org)
this is how my default Skin - sterile, looks with your (only slightly modified).xaps
tried a few different textures but you nailed it, so im using yours too.
edit - Can someone using chevy's xaps check this - when watching a dvd and you press stop (the dvdstop screen comes up) then, when you press play the audio starts but dvdstop screen is stuck on ie no video only the stop screen.

I check out the problem tonight sounds like a problem with the background change code. What version are you having the problem with lite or original?

dcuk, I think I found your problem. In default.xip/dvd.xap there are 3 instances of
| CODE | theBackground.isBound = true;
|
But since there is no longer a defined type named "theBackground" (since we changed it to "myBackgroundList") the dash glitches.
So you should be able to replace all three instances above with this:
| CODE | myBackgroundList.children[0].isBound = true;
|
But this will load up your first background. You might be able to use this to load up you saved bg, but it might not work
| CODE | myBackgroundList.children[ReturnInteger(theDashSettings[113])].isBound = true;
|

might call this one 'Orange Bastard' - cos during its making i lost my cellwalls (not the file just couldn't see the cells - tuned out to be a hexbe colour thing) and it took me hours to fix/figure out.

OK I want that Zoolander. Please post that to AXS. That fit's my color of my xbox perfect. Oh ya can you post both the one with chevys xaps and the one with out? I hope it's not to much to ask for.

Yep donor, they are coming, just have to sort out some issues with my dash, ever since i've tried to texture more than the mainmenu its gotton buggy, need to fix it first so i can test and skin dvd controls and the like. Soon though.
Edit: by the way, i really like the tHc orb so i try to make all my skins so that they look good with tHc orb as well. will post screens when i upload

Thanks for the upload. Now I just have to figure out how to convert them to THCLITE. If anyone would be willing to help I would be forever gratefull. Off to read the tutorials. LOL.

Donor, to use with lite just insert all the xbx's in the folders into lites' skin.xip, renaming 'xboxbg.xbx' to 'background.xbx' and patch your xbe with with the preset.

clown88; glad u liked it and, even i personally think it came out better than i expected. i just sent it to AXS, so it should be up by today.
and Odb go head and edit it. i think it needs work on the colors, i wanted to change them but i was too lazy to fix 'em my self!

in order for the skin to have reflective textures, u have to have the code for it under everything that u want to texturize in the.xaps u want.
by now i thought everyone would have the reflect texutres, since it was posted before even lite came out.
since you don't have tham texturized, just download sschevy's halo skin, (thanks to him, we all have everything texturized in lite) and use all the .xaps he included.
and than extract the "texture.xbx" from my skin's skin.xip. rename it to "metal.xbx" and make a copy of it and rename that one to "metalblue.xbx". Than extract the "default.xap" from sschevy's skin.xip, and put it in my skin's skin.xip along with the two texture files (metal.xbx and metalblue.xbx)
and replace ur xaps with sschevy's .xaps. than just rensfer the files back to ur xbox.
and guys i'll post those skins on axs very shortly.

I think it's okay, but I love your other skins like eye of the storm, clogged drain, batman logo, and the 3d landscape one on page 63. What I really don't like with this skin is the background, there has to be a better background out there. If I had to pick one it would be batman logo I love how that skin looks, and with the new movie coming out I know there is going to be more batman skins to come.

yep RapBoy, the supergirl skin is cool, the colours work very well. Even the orb 'ring' suits. The only thing is she's drawn like she's had a bad collagen injection.
